Clinical Preparedness
We'll be providing some clinical briefs and workshops for colleagues, our goal is to have RACE approval for cont. education by that time. We'll also be presenting our clinical response algorithm (image attached) and discuss the growing risks to animals that are emerging.
Innovation & Therapeutic Potential
We have our therapeutic roadmap blocked out and will be discussing ideas on moving forward, animal-safety focused research study designs, and putting out summary guidance to IRB and ethics boards working in this space.
In Veterinary Mental Health
We'll be offering facilitated discussions and sessions on what psychedelic substances bring as options to veterinary professionals, discussion on whether these substances could change our rates of burnout and suicide across the profession.
