Consultation
Services
How can we help?
IMPORTANT: our consultation services provide access to veterinarian-led medical teams that focus on novel and emerging medicines and therapies in animal care.
A consultation with our team does not provide endorsement or instructions for providing psychedelic medicines to animals. Our team is prepared to provide colleagues, animal caregivers, and industry partners with scientifically and medically accurate, clinically-applicable, and interspecies-aware veterinary medical input, guidance, and education.

Keep risk reduction actions in mind at all times when working with a psychedelic substance in close proximity to an animal.

Psychedelic exposure in pets could be a medical emergency. If your animal is exposed, please contact your in-person primary care veterinarian, local veterinary emergency clinic, or a poison-control hotline.

Human Psychedelic Support & Harm Reduction Education (HRE)
Our team is available to provide support for animal health professionals looking for education & support from a fellow professional with a depth of knowledge and experience relating to psychedelic medicines from both a traditional and scientific lens.
Conscious & ethical use of animals as guides / therapy animals
Do you have questions related to how your pet interacts with you during or following a personal psychedelic experience? Respect your animal's safe and autonomy and consider whether they consent to be present during a psychedelic experience.
For therapy and service animal guardians - learn about work and service related injuries in animal adjacent to the human psychedelic experience and how to keep your animal safe. Learn about facilitator liability when an injury to a working animal occurs.

Please reach out for question about animal safety and consent in psychedelic spaces, resources if your animal has been injured.
Post Exposure (non-emergent)
This service is not meant to replace emergent or urgent consultations. If your pet is suffering from physical symptoms that are concerning to you please contact a local veterinarian.

A pet's behavior and physical health may be affected in the immediate window after exposure to a psychedelic substance as well as in the days, weeks, and even months afterwards. If you are looking for consultations regarding a change in behavior following accidental ingestion, please contact us for a consultation.
