Psychedelic Substances in Veterinary Medicine (PSVetMed)

JUNE 07 2026 - join us for our second year!

Join in Aspen, Colorado or virtually from anywhere on the globe.

7:15 - 8:45a | Colleague Coffee Connection

Come join us outside the Wheeler Opera House for a time for colleague connection.  We'll be joining together our virtual and physical WatchGroups to connect prior to the start of the Aspen Psychedelic Symposium.

We're excited to connect with the Colorado psychedelic community, the amazing speakers, and the individuals and groups building the emerging human-use psychedelic landscape.

Community Interviews

  • We'll chat with Dr. Jim Grigsby in a community interview about what's going on at the CU Psychedelic Research Center.

  • Tasia Poinsette - Healing Advocacy Fund (HAF)

Innovation & Therapeutic Potential

We have our therapeutic roadmap blocked out and will be discussing ideas on moving forward, animal-safety focused research study designs, and putting out summary guidance to IRB and ethics boards working in this space.

In Veterinary Mental Health

We'll be offering facilitated discussions and sessions on what psychedelic substances bring as options to veterinary professionals, discussion on whether these substances could change our rates of burnout and suicide across the profession.
